MONTVILLE H.S. KEGLERS ROLL ASTOUNDING 1159-3351 TO EXTEND UNBEATEN SKEIN TO NINE; BEN AND JACK SHERMAN PACED THE TORRID VICTORS WITH 722, 707 RESPECTIVELY

Rockaway, NJ 02/17/21 – The Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference [NJAC] Southern Division has one of the state’s best teams, but in this year of the pandemic, there is no state tournament and Montville will have to settle for a league title. At Rockaway Lanes this past week, the Mustangs posted a remarkable 1159 game, 3351 set and boast a team average of 1044/game. In shocking this season’s main rival, second place Chatham, Montville’s quintet plastered the maples: Ben Sherman 264-722, Jack Sherman 256-707, Tyler Polachek 646, Evan Spitzberg 645 and Ryan Sylvester 631. The league’s leading bowler, Chatham’s Jack Konrad, who earlier this year scored 300-781 and sports a 235 high average, led the Cougars with 674.
